Crimes That Could Be Considered Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is not limited to crimes committed against one’s spouse, nor does it only include physical abuse. All of these behaviors could lead to domestic violence charges:

In Colorado, any criminal charge that involves a person with whom you have (or have had in the past) an intimate relationship is considered domestic violence. Restraining Orders

When domestic violence charges are filed, a restraining order will be issued automatically. If a restraining order has been issued preventing you from returning to your home, you need an experienced attorney to protect your rights.
