Galentine’s Day has become a popular fictional holiday for women to celebrate with their girlfriends, stemming from the popular NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. Created by Amy Poehler’s character, Leslie Knope, the holiday takes place every year on Feb. 13 in celebration of female friendship.
